We are a sourdough home bakery operating under cottage food law in Belchertown, Massachusetts. We’re passionate about creating real, nourishing food and building community. We are committed to using high quality, clean ingredients and freshly ground flours because we believe our community deserves bread and pastries that are free from seed oils, enriched flours, pesticides, and unnecessary plastics. We value in person connection over passive online communication and our business is centered around authentic togetherness and service. Featured Offerings for December

  • Salted Rosemary Garlic Mini Artisan Bread: Half the size of your standard artisan loaves and generously filled with organic rosemary and garlic. A flake salt crust on this bread gives it a defined savory flavor that goes wonderfully with soups, stews, and sauces.
  • Grapefruit & Cardamom Scones: A spiced winter citrus scone topped with raw sugar crystals.
  • Winter Spice Scones: Made with cranberries, a hint of rosemary and warming spices and topped with raw sugar crystals.
  • Hot Honey Whole Wheat Bagels: Twice the size of our everything bagels (so, roughly the size of a store bought bagel) and made with hot honey. These bagels have a moderate heat and are outstanding as a breakfast sandwich.

Our Current Offerings

Artisan Bread – A crusty loaf of bread made with a blend of locally sourced organic, unenriched, unbleached white flour and freshly ground organic whole wheat flour.

Available in the following varieties: Plain, Pumpernickel (made with freshly milled organic Danko rye)

Sandwich Loaves

Available in the following varieties: Plain, Cinnamon Swirl, Chocolate Chip, Vegan (honey-free), Seeded Rye (made with freshly milled organic Danko rye), Whole Wheat

Baguette: A classic baguette – crusty on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside.

100% Whole Wheat Cinnamon Buns: Fluffy, hearty, and sweet. We have never been able to find a cinnamon bun that excludes processed sugars and seed oils. So we created one! No refined sugar, as many local organic ingredients as we can source, and a deep nutty flavor thanks to our using 100% freshly milled organic whole wheat flour. As of 11/06: We now offer these cinnamon buns in 5-counts (same cumulative dough weight as before, just shaped differently to accommodate updated packaging).

Morning Glory Muffin: Simple, moist, yet elevated with the incorporation of sourdough.

Everything Bagels: Chewy New York style bagels with the seasoning mixed into the dough rather than sprinkled on top.

All of our recipes are made with a mixture of organic, unenriched, unbleached all purpose flour and freshly milled organic whole wheat flour (except our cinnamon buns and whole wheat sandwich loaves, which are made with 100% freshly milled whole wheat). We make this choice because 100% whole wheat recipes can be an acquired taste and we believe that “healthy” isn’t all or nothing. To us, making good choices for our bodies means balancing the wholeness of our food with flavor and enjoyment.
